Blake Griffin is a 14-year NBA veteran, entrepreneur, producer, investor, and philanthropist whose impact extends far beyond the basketball court.

The former No. 1 overall NBA Draft pick and six-time NBA All-Star built a reputation as one of the most electrifying players of his era, earning 2011 NBA Rookie of the Year honors and redefining the power forward position with his rare combination of athleticism, skill, and charisma. A Slam Dunk Contest champion and one of the league’s most recognizable personalities, Griffin became equally respected off the court for his sharp business instincts, creative versatility, and natural comedic talent, landing on Forbes’ 2019 “30 Under 30” list and emerging as one of the most sought-after brand partners and pitchmen in sports.

In 2016, Griffin co-founded Mortal Media, a Los Angeles-based film and television production company, alongside former NFL All-Pro Ryan Kalil. Focused on premium scripted and unscripted storytelling across sports, culture, comedy, sci-fi, and high-concept entertainment, Mortal has developed projects with leading studios and platforms including Netflix, Paramount, FX, Disney, and 20th Century Studios. The company’s recent credits include the Apple TV+ sci-fi dramedy series Hello Tomorrow! and the 20th Century Studios feature film White Men Can’t Jump.

Following his playing career, Griffin seamlessly transitioned into broadcasting, recently completing his first season as a lead studio analyst for Amazon’s NBA coverage, where his insight, humor, and deep understanding of the game have quickly resonated with audiences.

Deeply committed to community impact, Griffin and his family founded the Team Griffin Foundation in 2017 to create opportunities for young people across his home state of Oklahoma and the surrounding region. The foundation has helped unlock more than $11MM in college scholarship opportunities for student-athletes, changing the trajectory of countless young lives through mentorship, education, and access.
